Building your career as an SAS doctor - 15th Jul, 2021, 5:30 pm (UK)

Building your career as an SAS doctor

SAS doctors play a vital role in the delivery of NHS services but can sometimes be overlooked when it comes to career development and recognition.
Join us to hear from the chair of the RCP SAS doctor network and senior RCP officers on the latest national changes for SAS doctors, the work of the RCP SAS doctor network and how the College can support you now and in the future to build a successful and enjoyable career.
The event will focus on how SAS doctors can:
 - develop as educators and researchers
 - gather supporting evidence for CESR; offering practical advice and guidance
 - improve your wellbeing, learn about principles to identify problems, and develop resilience with supporting resources
 - navigate the challenges you may face as an SAS doctor to ensure you have a rewarding career.

In addition to SAS doctors (of all specialties), this event will appeal to those supporting SAS doctors, including SAS tutors, college tutors and DMEs.
The RCP is committed to helping SAS doctors to develop fulfilling careers and to meet the needs of the service and patient care in the future, join us to learn more.
